Rota Vicentina

Left Verona, Italy, two days ago. This time the assignment is along the Rota Vicentina in Portugal. This place is one hour south of Lisbon. It is a pretty wild place. It is far from the main portoguese touristic area. Me and my colleaugue, journalist Carmen Rolle, had really great time. Rota Vicentina is a network of walking trails. Comprising the Historical Way, the Fishermen’s Trail, and several Circular Routes, totals 400 km to walk, between the city of Santiago do Cacém and the Cape St. Vincent, the most south western point in Europe. We even had the pleasure to be caught by thunderstorm after six months drought.
